37001507 290x300 Why to Make Getting Lean a Top PriorityHardly anything is as important as health and feeling good. You may think paying bills and children are a high priority, but taking care of everyone is more difficult if you are not operating at optimum or are sick.

You’re income, your emotions, your self esteem, your performance, and of course your appearance can all be maximized by going through the process that makes you lean.  Getting lean is eating the foods your body was created to consume 200,000 years ago.  If you are not lean, you are eating too many modern concoctions.

If you are not lean, your blood vessels are probably being constricted by materials that are by products of unhealthy food. Your cells are being threatened by organ destroying free radicals that cause death.  Your healthy productive time that will allow you to live happy in your golden years and enjoy the retirement you deserve and the grand children you have desired will be marred.

Getting lean is discipline and a value system.  We take for granted that we are immortal when we are young. The body can survive a lot of abuse.  But then the filtering capabilities wane as our destructive habits continue.

Eating natural food like fruit, vegetables, nuts, seeds, grains, good fats, and lean protein make our brain, muscles, organs, skin, hair, nails, and circulation thrive. We can feel great and happy to be alive. We look good. We get complemented on our discipline.  We can engage in more activities both mental and physical.  Nothing says attractive like beaming health.

Adding exercise from a young age allows us to be active into our 80′s.  At Lake Tahoe there are octogenarians riding their bikes 20 to 30 miles a day.  In Oceanside, there are great surfers in their 60′s and 70′s.  As a surf instructor, I am often amazed that people in their 30′s and 40′s are already physically diminished.

Life is too short to be only about work and responsibility. When its all done, you want to look at the good times. You want to have good times as you go. You want to keep feeling better, looking better, and performing better.  Nature gave us an incredible machine or vessel and we can maximize it with lean.
