Alden slowly opened his eyes. The first thing he saw was the sky and trees while laying on his back in the middle of a forest. The time was 10:03 in the morning, according to an old rusty watch wrapped around his left wrist. Alden slowly started moving his body to get up quickly discovering that his body was bruised, aching, and had no recollection of how he ended up in the forest. For that matter he didn’t even know what forest he was in or where he was geographically. Upon checking his pants pockets there was nothing in them. Next to where he had apparently slept for the night was a map.
Alden’s location on the map informed him that he was deep in a Brazilian forest. He was directed to a hidden shed to get supplies for his journey. Luckily he had several hours of daylight and he would be able to make it to his first destination. This particular forest was known for its aggressive indigenous animal population, so he had to make his way quickly and carefully! He stopped by a small pond to get some water and to his surprise he found a human skull just at the base of a tree close by. He picked up his pace to get to his first destination. The forest was alive but yet had an eerie calm sense to it. After a few miles of walking Alden arrived to the shed. The supply shed was covered by thick layers of vines and foliage.
