Getting lean is not only getting fit, but it is getting healthy, building an immune system, reducing chances of heart disease and cancer (even if its hereditary), feeling good, wearing smaller sizes, looking better, and getting a few complements if you like that sort of thing.
Lean and fit shows up on your face. Health is a very attractive quality. Fitness is also reflected by better reception in meeting new people for business who judge that you are disciplined.
The food intake has to be mostly natural consisting of fruit, vegetables, nuts, seeds, grains, good fats, and lean protein. My morning starts with fruit on top of a little oat meal with some mixed nuts. After my exercise, I have a protein shake. For lunch you can have a salad with meat or fish or a vegetable ensemble with chicken that could include brown rice and beans. Protein snacks in the afternoon will satisfy hunger and keep your energy up.
I start out my evening with a very big salad that contains vegetables, lettuce, nuts and raisins. I include tomatoes, squash, celery, carrots, broccoli, and kale. After it settles I have a dinner of chicken and vegetables with broccoli, beans, brown rice, squash, and tomatoes. I start the mix with onions and garlic simmered in olive oil and add red peppers and other seasonings to mix.
After dinner you can have a little dessert and control the rest of the evening with food that is not harmful.
You should have an hour of exercise a day and try to increase the intensity or length as time rolls on. Exercising twice a day for a half an hour is more beneficial than once a day for an hour. Three times is better yet. Week end warriors can use the time for a longer period of bike riding, running, surfing, paddle boarding, hiking, walking, gym work, or what ever else you enjoy.
Eating natural food and eliminating packaged, canned, and restaurant food will cause the body to release the fat encapsulated bad food you have eaten and start to lean out at a very fast rate.
